Paid Media & Performance Executive

Experience required: Minimum 3+ years experience in paid Media, performance marketing or PPC (agency experience strongly preferred).

We’re looking for a Paid Media & Performance Marketing Executive, you’ll take a hands-on role in planning, launching and optimising paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn and Meta. You’ll work closely with our marketing team and our clients, but with real ownership over performance, budgets and optimisation decisions. You’ll also support wider digital marketing activity and client accounts where needed, helping ensure paid media integrates seamlessly with broader campaigns and objectives.

Key responsibilities

Paid Media & Performance

  • Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, campaign types, and audience targeting to hit agreed KPIs.
  • Balance performance-driven activity (CPA, ROAS, lead quality) with top-of-funnel awareness campaigns.
  • Build and run structured tests across creative, audiences and funnels, sharing learnings with the wider team.

Campaign Management & Reporting

  • Monitor performance daily, proactively identifying opportunities and issues.
  • Produce clear, insightful reports that explain what’s working, what’s not and what to do next.
  • Translate platform metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS) into meaningful business insights for clients.

Collaboration & Account Support

  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Executives to align paid media activity with wider client objectives.
  • Support landing page and funnel improvements by feeding back performance insights.
  • Contribute to creative briefs by identifying winning messages, angles and formats.
  • Confidently discuss performance and recommendations with internal teams and clients.

Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure tracking is correctly implemented (UTMs, conversion tracking, pixel tracking).
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, new formats and automation opportunities.
  • Bring new ideas, tests and optimisation opportunities to the table.

General Digital Marketing & Account Support

  • Support client accounts beyond paid media, contributing to wider digital marketing activity where appropriate (e.g. campaign planning, channel coordination, insights).
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Digital Marketing Executives to ensure paid activity aligns with organic, content, email and website activity.
  • Meet clients where relevant, helping explain performance, recommendations and next steps.

Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in paid media, performance marketing or PPC (agency experience strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager (LinkedIn Ads experience is a strong plus).
  • A solid understanding of performance metrics such as CPA, ROAS, CTR and conversion rate.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimising campaigns with accountability for results.
  • Confidence working with data and turning insights into clear actions.
  • Strong communication skills – comfortable explaining performance to non-specialists.
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
