So, it’s finally time to share the news! Due to the success and growth of Crunchy Carrots, we desperately needed a new space for the team, one that’s fit for purpose. We’ve now secured our new patch in Falkirk town centre!
We interviewed our Managing Director Scott Henderson, to let you know more about the move, what was involved, and why the move!
Tell us a bit about the history of Crunchy Carrots?
Crunchy Carrots was first established 7 years ago where we started working from the Falkirk Business Hub with Andy being our first recruit. The business was built from there, and we moved into our first office round the corner in Glebe Street, in early 2019. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength, with Adam and Pauline joining the team and opening an office in Perth in 2022. But by 2023, we had outgrown the original Falkirk office and were on the hunt for a new place.
Why did you decide on Melville Street?
I first saw the building and thought it could be a potential, however we had recently moved into the Perth office, so I took a bit of time to make the decision. The history and significance of the building really interested me; it used to be Leckie’s, which anyone over 30 in Falkirk will remember! This was an iconic shop and those that shopped there will remember a huge selection of stuff for sale! The location was perfect for both the team and our clients. With stunning views over the Ochil Hills, the office is situated in the heart of the town, with access to all amenities and the train station just across the road.
What considerations went into designing the new office space?
There were lots of considerations on how we wanted the office to feel and look. I wanted the office to be comfortable for our team, somewhere that didn’t feel too ‘office like’, but somewhere we are all proud to bring our clients to. Also, it was important to make sure we carried through the open plan area that worked really well in our previous office allowing for a vibrant, open space to collaborate and be creative.
It was important to me to use local contractors to create a fresh and professional workspace and a big thank you to all that helped with this project. Specifically, RMAR Architects, MD Finlay who worked on the windows and doors, Scott and the team at Ebony Joiners for all the internal work and helping to project manage the renovations, SDM Electrical, Falkirk Carpets, Falkirk Interiors Orchard Timber, Verifier Security, MF Decorators and Renewable Heat who all worked hard to make the office what is it today. It was important for me to keep some of the original features of the Leckie’s building including the exposed brickwork, glass, and the renowned Leckie’s sign. Although everyone was working hard, it was still a challenging time getting everything ready, with myself and wee Alfie making many visits to oversee the work; well Alfie would just be getting up to no good and covered in sawdust!
What does the future look like for Crunchy Carrots?
Now we’re settled in the new office I plan to help the team grow, working on their development and knowledge. By working on their knowledge will only make our team stronger and allow us to help our clients by providing them even more expertise and advice, allowing them to grow their businesses too.

We’re located at 18 Melville Street, Falkirk, FK1 1HZ, right next to our lovely neighbours Behind The Wall. The location of the office is ideal, with a car park right opposite and the train station just across the road – perfect for both our clients and the team. Not to mention, the stunning views of the Ochil Hills! The new office gives us plenty of room for breakout sessions, client meetings and space for more expansion.
