All About The Young Persons Guarantee
We are proud to officially be a Young Persons Guarantee employer, thanks to the fantastic work from our team in-house and the support from Developing the Young Workforce Forth Valley.
Recognising young, upcoming talent has always been at the forefront of our brand values, and to be officially recognised for this is super exciting for us. We appreciate the challenges young people face when leaving school, college, and/or university when trying to find employment, especially over the past 2 years.
We work in partnership with a number of local schools to inspire their pupils to develop essential employability skills, from supporting projects that directly impact their learning in the classroom to providing real-life business projects for them to work on. Furthermore, we also support the Young Enterprise Programme which is close to our heart, its mission being to inspire and equip young people to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
Over the years, we have worked with various schools in the area to support Young Enterprise.
Our most recent being with Larbert High School, in which our Digital Marketing team designed a marketing brief for the students to work to complete, much like they would receive in a real-life agency situation. Within the brief, the students were given the task to design a social media campaign for one of Crunchy Carrot’s newest services. Not only does this give the pupils an idea of the type of work they would be expected to work on in a professional environment, but it expands their knowledge on digital marketing, branding, design, and other creative elements.
Back in 2018, we had the pleasure of working with Falkirk High School and its students on a design project. We worked with the students over the course of 4 months on all things branding and marketing, and the students were given the task of designing and constructing cup holders for our local client, Igloo. Another fantastic project and team Crunchy were hugely impressed by the standard of work produced by everyone involved.
We have always championed employing young team members and the fresh ideas, creativity, and passion they can bring to a team and how with guidance, training, and support, they can become a company’s most valuable asset. Crunchy Carrots is the perfect example of that.
To kick off officially joining the Young Persons Guarantee campaign, we are delighted to say we are looking for a Modern Apprentice, Web Developer, and Digital Media Executive to join our patch. These are fantastic opportunities for someone looking to join a fast-paced, creative team and take the first or next step in their career within website and/or digital media development.
The roles will have huge potential for professional development.
